A Teams meeting of the board of directors was held on March 15, 2022. Discussion included:
- Convention 2021 and fundraiser reported $8,000 income from the auction, and a generous $2,000 donation from Yorkton Auction Centre.
- Convention 2022: Comfort Suites Regina booked for November 28, 29, 2022, with Convention and AGM to be held at Canadian Western Agribition. Further details to be ironed out at June meeting
- Social media discussed, with work to continue on website and other social media platforms
- Report concerning ongoing discussion with Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority regarding regulations in auctions, and further discussion will occur at June meeting.
- Internet provision for the SAA office discussed, and action to be taken to secure alternate provider.
- Discussion of future convention venues, to be further discussed at future board meetings.
- The next meeting will occur via Teams on June 7, 2022
